This is the final church service of the day in the Christian tradition and the English word Compline is derived from the Latin completorium, as Compline is the completion of the working day.
Whether you are from a faith background or not, this is an opportunity for all involved in the project to come together as a ‘community of communities’ to look back on what has been achieved and to take time to prepare for the day ahead. Perhaps there might even be an insight into the minds of those medieval players who pushed their waggons through the very streets which we will enliven the next morning.
We invite anyone interested in taking part to join us in The Guild Church of All Saints, Pavement on Saturday 12th July where the service will begin at 8.00pm led by Revd Jane Nattrass, Chaplain to the Guilds. It will last approximately 45 minutes.
